If you decide to choose Happy Days for your child we will ensure you have a thorough induction period. This will allow you time to attend with your child and communicate all your child's needs with the staff team.
At Happy Days and within all of our nurseries we operate using the Early Years Foundation Stage (more details about this can be found on the what makes us special page). We pride ourselves in providing fun and exciting activities for the children that challenge development and learning.
In addition to the activities we provide we also have links with outside agencies who visit the setting to provide activities. We have weekly visits from 'Leaps and Bounds', this is a physical development programme based on tumble tots. We also have a dance lady and rhythm time sessions on alternate weeks.
Throughout the year we have lots of events and lots of opportunities for the parents to become involved. We hold open evenings, parents evening and stay and play sessions.
Throughout the year we have various opportunities to do some fundraising, with our main event being 'Fun Week'. We have a fancy dress theme each day, do cake sales, sponsored activities and hold a summer fete. All of our funds are then used to support local charities.
